The Best Bluetooth Headset That Pairs With Multiple Devices

I have been on a quest for the best bluetooth headset that pairs with multiple devices. I will use this post to detail what I find about each one. I will post the manufacturer’s information, my take, then a link to the product.

This is one of the best bluetooth headsets I have found that pairs with multiple devices. It has an LCD screen that lets you choose which device you want to connect to. It also has a nice dial and push button system that lets you see caller id and all kinds of information.
These used to be priced much higher. Now that everyone and their brother has a bluetooth headset the market is a bit thin with garbage devices. This is NOT one of them. Maybe it’s a little heavy, but besides that it’s the best stereo bluetooth headset that supports A2DP for the money.

The BlueAnt V12 Bluetooth headset with LCD display, caller ID and vibrating call alert is packed with some truly advanced features. Unfortunately it stinks. The automatic backlit LCD screen offers advanced features such as 12 number caller ID, battery and volume level indicators, and the last 10 number caller history. With voice dial, vibrating caller alert and a micro usb neckstrap, the lightweight (1/2 ounce/16 grams), V12 Bluetooth headset is the full featured Bluetooth headset at an affordable price but a painful design. With an extended battery life of up to 12 hours talk time and 15 days standby time, the V12 is built to keep you on the move. But noone could wear this for 12 hours. Stay away from this product.
UPDATE: This unit did not meet up to our standards. We wish to find a device that can not only pair with multiple devices but actually have the ability to switch from handset to computer to mp3 player right from the bluetooth headset itself. It turns out in order to get the V12 to actually switch from one device to another, you need to turn off bluetooth on every phone / computer / mp3 player except the one you wish to connect to. Bottom line? We do not recommend buying this device unless you really don’t mind an uncomfortable headset that happens to show you the caller id. It has some neat features, but it simply doesn’t pair to multiple devices well. It has decent sound quality, but the extreme discomfort ruins it.
