Depending on your level of expertise, you may or may not know anything about websites and what hosting actually is. Here is a brief explanation of website hosting as it applies to most small businesses.

• A server is a special computer hooked directly to the internet. Servers can be very expensive but all websites must be located on a server.
• Hundreds of small websites can fit on a big server.
• Most small businesses do not need an entire server. We can save them money by giving them a “shared account”. We only charge them for the amount of space and bandwidth that they actually use. Similar to buying a piece of pie instead of the entire pie. You pay for what you take!
• Evolving Office sells shared accounts to small businesses for a monthly fee, or a discounted yearly fee.
• Since we have several customers on the same server, we pass the savings onto you.
• Hosting is only one of the three parts of getting your website online. You need a domain and you need someone to build your site.

Our hosting rates are as follows:

• $15/mo - up to 1000 MB space
• $150/yr - up to 1000 MB space
• Other customized prices as needed.

For most small businesses it usually takes under 75 MB to get a website up and running including space for your email account. If you have lots of graphics or videos that you want to put online, you will need more space. We can add space as required to suit your needs for a few extra bucks per month.
